“Easing” This is a most popular technique which every newbies of flash want to know how to do. If you learn more actionscript, you will know that making easing for postion , size and others is very easy.

How to do?
Answer is you use new value which movieclip will chaged to calculate with present value for getting different value. After that, to divide different value by some number such as 2, so you will get half of different value and plus it to the present value. So every time movieclip change its property to newvalue, the different value will be less and it will changed slowly. (Important is placing code in loop event such as enterFrame event)

In this sample, I apply easing technique to change size of movieclip and you will see some work that I use this technique for making easing scrollbar later. (In flash mx version)

If you are using flash 8, you will notice that you already have tool for making easing of tweening.

Hi all friends, sorry for didn’t update any contents for this period because I have old flash web of a movie which have to be finished and two kiosk games and one flash navigation for flash application. I am busy so much, but I have thought what I want to write for you, so please wait for a period.

I am writing php file for download page too, but I am not smart in php, so may I have to learn for a week to finish it.

While I don’t update my flash blog in this period that I told you that I am translating to thai language (Post lost), I just check for today and I am wonder that my all post lost.

So I have to use my back up data to upload again and some lilltle post lost. I check install.php in my host and see that I still don’t delete it. I don’t know who do this, but it isn’t funny.

I hope that it will not be happened again.

I always see a lot of people like to ask about loop picture. When I am newbies in flash, this work is a good workshop for doing and thinking. I think it is’n hard if you can calculate size of picture and know about how to get position (_x,_y) and lenght of object (_width, _height). From my experiece, I see that many one don’t care about smoothness of picture movement.

You will see that I build scroll bar for changing speed for test smoothness too. Why have to test?

If you use low speed for moving picture, you will not see anything wrong. But if you use high speed for moving picture, you will see that picture will move backward when it reset its position for making loop.

Easy technique for fix the problem is checking the next position of picture that it will move to. If picture will move over the reset point (point for moving picture to place at the begin position), you should reset reset position of it before.

Infact, you should use distances that picture can move over the reset point too and use it to calculate for new position after set the picture to place at the begin position.

Description : After I finish my first website, I learn more about flash and this work is a result of it. Description : This is one night work and so tired. I do it in 6.00 P.M. and finish it in 6.00 A.M in the next moring. I do this work for a grand children of my teacher. Infact I tell my teacher that I will only teach him for doing, but he don’t understand. So I have to do it by myself and tell him for giving some graphic (search by myself for some). One thing that make me to be serious is that he want a beautiful webs so much, but I am not sure that it is beatiful enough .

I just visited senocular website and see news of Flash professional 9 and be exited to see about next flash version.

I go to adobe lab and see that I can download for Flash 9 Actionscript 3.0 preview file (111 MB for window) And I think you should try it if you are registered user of flash 8 product (Have to register for adobe site and login before download). If not, you can use the Flex 2 SDK to compile AS3 files.
